Module 1: Current Status of Survivorship Care              and the Role of Primary Care Providers

Instructions

Participants will sequentially go through the 1-hour module, which includes a pre-assessment, audio presentation from the patient/survivor perspective (6 min.), a webinar presentation on the role of PCPs in providing care to survivors (23 min.), a webinar presentation on national efforts related to survivorship care (17 min.), and a post-assessment. Completion of all module activities is required to receive CE. Please see E-Series Overview for more information.

Learning Objectives

  1. Upon completion of this module, participants should be able to:
  2. Describe models of cancer survivorship follow-up care.
  3. Demonstrate understanding of a PCP’s role in providing care to survivors.
