Lorenzo Norris, MDDr. Lorenzo Norris is an accomplished psychiatrist and academic leader, serving as Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Administration, Interim Senior Associate Dean for M.D. Programs, and Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at George Washington University. As Director of Consult Liaison Psychiatry and the George Washington University Cancer Survivorship Center, he leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to optimizing the quality of life for patients at all stages of cancer treatment. His work emphasizes a holistic approach to patient care, integrating psychiatry, nutrition, palliative care, and exercise science. Dr. Norris is deeply interested in the role of relationships in mental health, advocating for active engagement in shaping personal and professional connections. His extensive experience with medically ill patients underscores his commitment to comprehensive, relationship-centered care.

Christine Teal, MD, MPH
GW Medical Faculty Associates, Breast Care Center

Christine TealDr. Christine Teal is a board-certified surgeon and academic leader specializing in breast surgery at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. As Director of the Breast Care Center and Chief of Breast Surgery, she is dedicated to advancing patient care and surgical excellence. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where she graduated AOA, and completed her general surgery residency at The New York Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her research has been featured in leading medical journals, including the American Journal of Surgery and the Breast Journal. Actively engaged in professional organizations, Dr. Teal contributes to the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Surgeons while also serving as the Cancer Liaison Physician for the American College of Surgeons’ Cancer Committee.

Mandi Pratt-Chapman, MA
GW Cancer Institute

Mandi Pratt-ChapmanDr. Mandi Pratt-Chapman is a health equity leader and researcher dedicated to advancing patient-centered cancer care. As Associate Center Director for Patient-Centered Initiatives and Health Equity at the GW Cancer Center, she fosters research collaborations to improve health outcomes in underserved communities. She earned her PhD in Translational Health Sciences from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, complementing her MA from the University of Maryland and BA from Georgetown University. Dr. Pratt-Chapman has led national efforts to develop oncology patient navigation standards, co-authored clinical practice guidelines for cancer survivorship, and secured continuous funding for research on evidence-based cancer care and health equity. With a strong commitment to LGBTQI health, she provides national training and technical assistance to improve cancer care access for diverse populations.

Anne Willis, MA

Anne Willis, MAAnne Willis, MA, is a mission-driven leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare access, policy, and advocacy, working across government, academic, and nonprofit sectors. She excels at strategic problem-solving, turning complex challenges into impactful programs through data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative thinking. As a graduate of the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University, she holds a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Administration, an MA in Communication from Auburn University, and a BS in Radio/TV/Film from The University of Texas at Austin. Certified in Behavioral Economics, Diversity & Inclusion, and Innovative Change, Anne is passionate about developing patient support strategies and leading transformative healthcare initiatives that enhance equity and accessibility.

Elizabeth Hatcher, BSN, RN
GW Cancer Institute

Elizabeth O. Hatcher, FNPLiz O’Donnell Hatcher, MSN, FNP, is a dedicated nurse practitioner specializing in cancer survivorship and patient navigation at the GW Cancer Institute. With a Master of Science in Nursing from the George Washington University School of Nursing, she has built a career focused on enhancing patient-centered care and survivorship programs. Previously, she served as a nurse practitioner at Inova Health System and The GW Medical Faculty Associates, where she played a key role in advancing oncology patient support. Her expertise is reflected in her published research on patient navigation, including co-authoring studies in the Journal of Oncology Navigation and Survivorship. Passionate about quality care and advocacy, Liz continues to develop innovative approaches to improve the healthcare experience for cancer survivors.
